Institution:
Chair of Development and Assembly of Textile Products, Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM), TUD Dresden University of Technology, Germany
Profile:
Yordan Kyosev is Professor and Head of the Chair of Development and Assembly of Textile Products at TU Dresden. His research focuses on digital textile product and process development, modelling and simulation of textile structures, body scanning, functional clothing development, and joining and assembly technologies. His work combines textile engineering with computational methods and digitalisation, covering applications from apparel and technical textiles to medical and protective products and fibre-reinforced composites. Before joining TU Dresden in 2019, he was Professor at Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. He is also the founder of TexMind, developing specialised software solutions for textile structures and technologies.

Profile:
Zuzana Šebeková is Associate Professor of textile design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, where she works at the Department of Textiles and leads the Laboratory of Textile in Industry. Her research and design practice focus on material-driven approaches in textile design, connecting material experimentation, industrial processes and design research. She is particularly interested in the transformation of textile surfaces, circular and process-based design strategies, natural dyes and pigments, and the changing role of textile designers within contemporary research and industry. Her work bridges artistic practice, material research and technological development, with a strong emphasis on how design processes can generate new knowledge and new ways of working with textile materials.

Profile:
Marie-Ange Bueno is Professor at the Université de Haute-Alsace and a researcher at the Laboratoire de Physique et Mécanique Textiles (LPMT). Her work lies at the intersection of textile physics, mechanics and tribology, with particular attention to friction, textile–skin interaction and the behaviour of textile structures. Her research and teaching also address knitted structures, textile mechanics and experimental characterisation. She has extensive experience in doctoral supervision and served as Director of LPMT from 2015 to 2023. For STRUTEX 2026, her contribution will focus on moisture management in knitted structures, and their relationship to friction and skin–textile interaction.
Keynote Lecture:
Moisture management in knitted structures, linked to skin–textile friction.
